you are so welcome! i hope some things finally 'clicked'. five years is a good amount of time to improve. if you need more help, drop me a line at the contact link on the site. lol, there was this girl who played clarinet who could do trills better than me, and of course, being the competitor i am, i was envious that i never could trill as well. i just told myself it was easier to trill on a clarinet than a sax, lol. hope you get to the point of creating your music based on chords, or improvisation. let me know if you need help.

Thank you so much for helping me understand some things about my music. I have been playing clarinet going on 5 years and I still had some misunderstandings about a few things. Thanks again.

changed domain since the old domain wouldn't let me get my files. also, uptime will be better.

found the code in the menu script that prevented text selection (i know sometimes it's nice to copy some text). just remember "content use only with permission " (for commercial purposes).

here's the fingerings for the keyboard:
http://musiced.about.com/od/lessonsandtips/ss/fingeringcharts_4.htm

if you want to play from recorded music, you can read the theory behind it here:
http://learneasymusictheory.911mb.com/index.shtml#1
also, just listen to the notes as you play with the song, and pay attention to what notes sound good with it (the key of the song).
thank you for commenting, rosy james

thank you aaron! i'm thinking anything is easy to understand, if we can get a handle on the smallest part of it. now, all we have to do is memorize where B to C, and E to F is on our instrument. read my site (playing along with your instrument), and you'll have a pretty good understanding of basic theory.

My instruction books gave no mention of how I should know when in a scale a sharp or flat was appropriate and I've been boggled all day but you made perfect sense of it in four words: Bake Cakes, Eat Food. Easy.
